sovereign strimmer head
Upon buying a new strimmer head for my petrol strimmer. It's best to search for a parts diagram for your strimmer to get part numbers as it took me three attempts due to the listing saying it fits my strimmer but they didn't due to the year of manufacture. So I finally looked up for a parts diagram and got the part number from there. I also found that the new springs weren't as stiff as the old one but this was due to it not being a sovereign part but an OEM part. Also try to use the correct strimmer line as if you buy the cheaper stuff I found it just tangled up and didn't last as long but the same thickness but slightly more expensive line lasted better as well as not tangling on the centre spool and splitting that piece which is what happened to mine. So as long as you find the part numbers for your model and year of manufacture it will make it a lot easier rather than just ebay searching for your models strimmer head as they aren't always correct. Also check where they are being delivered from as one of mine took a while.for delivery as it was a London based company but part was being shipped.from China (I think).
