planning a wedding

When me and my husband decided to get married after a 4 year engagment,we thought it was going to be tough,it was in some ways, but we managed to do it in just over 3 months,that may sound mad,but we did it,many of our friends said it had taken them over a year to get everything right. We decided on a registry office for the main ceremony,so that part was easy and luckily they had the date we wanted. It was just the venue that we couldn't decide on. We had looked at so many different venues, but decided to go with the place we spent our first christmas as a family which was a hotel in Crawley, the staff made it so easy to understand and they were very helpful. We had to choose the right drinks that people would like and the food for our evening buffet to suit our family and friends. Once the venues were sorted, everything else came into place, the cake(my mum bought for us),the decorations,dj,dress, suits, shoes, hair etc. To make our day more easier my husbands brother offered to be our dj for the night(he had his own decks, stands etc),we chose our music and he played it for us,we got a company to arrange and deliver the balloons for us aswel,we hired my husbands suit for the day,and i got my dress on the internet at a reasonable, yet brilliant price, also our sons 3piece suit from the internet, and most of the decorations, invites, table decs, banners, accessories and buttonholes etc, getting all theses sorts of things from the internet makes it so much more easier and less stressing for you both. Its suppose to be a special day,so why have the stress on your shoulders, make it easier for yourselfs. It all comes into place alot better, and that way,you know your day is going to be how you both want it. This is the order we done it to make it easier:

1) sort dates & venues ( ceremony & reception) (we sorted this out Registry Office-Jan 2012 & Hotel-Feb 2012)

2) sort food & drink for venue (Mar 2012)

3) sort a dj & music(first dance etc) ( Beginning of Apr 2012)

4) sort cake,balloons,invites,decs,flowers,buttonholes etc (Mar 2012)

5) sort dress(s),shoes,suit(s) & evening wear (Mar 2012)

6) sort hair & make up (Mar 2012)

7) send invites (Mar 2012)

Then we got married at the end of April 2012,you don't have to make it hard work for yourselfs,we made it to how we wanted our day and it turned out perfect, just how we wanted it to go. Everything will come together,as long as you have each others support and you believe you can do it,then you'll be fine
