i came across a car for sale in auto trader a too good to be true deal half usual price. they could only be contacted by e mail ,i was told they wanted to use e bay safe harbor as a third party to hold money while e bay shipped car to me they wanted me to pay via  weston union and told if asked not to tell w u i was paying for something over the internet, but sending a friend some money to avoid a 19%fee .I was sent a realistic invoice. these scam artists said he was doctor and left england to return back to holland and my daughter came across another scam using e bay vehicle protection plan and was based in greece e bay does not deal with any sales outside of e bay and does not get involved with holding funds or shipping of vehicles so just remember if it sems too good to be true it probably is
