The giving of favours is a tradition adhered to accross most cultures.  It  generally represents an opportunity for the Bride & Groom to individually thank their guests for attending their wedding and provides a keepsake as a token of their special day

The most popular "classic" wedding favour is still the gift of 5 white sugared almonds wraped in tulle or presented in a gift box - usually tied with ribbon.

Originating in Italy where they are called Bomboniere.

The 5 almonds represent heath, wealth, happiness, longlife and fertility.

For those of you lucky ladies with a little extra time to spare or fancy putting your hand to some creativity - creating your own favours can be fun and really gives you an idea to personalise your favours.

Now a days lots of wedding couples are creating there own favours

Most are trying to be different from everyone else

There is a lot of choice out there so good luck in finding the ones that are right for you

Good luck on your wedding day
