I see all too often other ebayers selling Irish coins,and stating they are "silver" when actually they are NOT - below, I have the FACTS for all buyers:

1951 - 1968 Inclusive...Halfcrown, shilling and florin are CuNi (copper and nickel mix)

1928 - 1940 Inclusive.....Threepence and Sixpence are Nickel

1942 - 1969 Inclusive.....Threepence and sixpence are CuNi

1969 - 2000 Inclusive - 5p, 10p, 50p and £1 are CuNi
