Whirlpool Askol circulation pump M95, replacement pump motor required
Askol M95 circulation pump and motor was pump number 461972474391
This is the original Askol pump
This Askol circulation pump is well known to have a couple of problems:
· The top hose (left of picture) perishes and then leaks.
· The motor is just unreliable, as it fails it can play havoc with the electronic control.
· The impellor falls or breaks off the shaft.
this info can be found on the pump
Made in Italy, Mod M95, Art 295106, Cod 461972474391, 230/240Vac 50 Hz
When the hose leaks it usually sprays water over all the base components, they will all have to be dried thoroughly. Quite often there is no need to replace anything but the pump and motor as the hose that splits is not available
Fortunately the Askol pump is no longer available and was replaced with part number 481236158434 which is a more traditional looking pump and motor and of much better quality.
This pump was part number 481236158434 and was used for several years as the replacement pump unit and proved much more reliable that the original pump.
However, if you have a leaking hose on this pump there is a replacement part available, unlike the Askol unit before it.
The hose comes with two securing clips but they are extremely tight fitting
but much cheaper than buying a new pump unit

This pump is now no longer available and the part number has changed to 480140103009 and a 3rd version pump is now available which is once again an Askol pump and motor.
The new Askol pump has this information on it and looks like this
Askol Mod.M219 4619 726 27061
This comes with a short wiring loom to connect up to the existing dishwasher plug, a couple of securing screws for fixing the bracket to the dishwasher and a location diagram for attaching the wiring loom
