here is a sony pmw ex3 camera !!
used for about 4 days filming in total, so awesome condition, with lots of extras included.
full list of extras to be added to the description soon, but for now:
extra 4 hour battery
4 memory cards
£8000+ value all bought new by me
it was bought with a 3 year warranty, i will find out if this warranty is transferable between owners or not, and let you know asap. i will also list all included extras, and more details soon !!!
local pick up only, unless you want to organise postage yourself, it will then be posted in the peli box, as it is. and responsibility is assumed. if this is the case, i can provide weight and dimensions.
starting at a silly £100 with no reserve.
more details to follow.
im listing its microphone (a rode ntg2) separately, so check that out if you need a mic for it.

ok here we go, full description, thanks for your patience.
i have inspected the camera visually and can see NO marks of any kind, its scratch free, clean, ready to roll. could easily pass as new item.
of course all the buttons work, everything works, absolutely fine. someone asked me how much recording it had done, the hours meter says 35 hours. like i said, about 4 days filming, it really hasnt been used much. the clip count is on 291 i think.
it has 2 batteries, both sony, a bpu 30, and a bpu 60, in total it is around 6 hours of battery life. both batteries obviously work.
memory cards, 1 8gb sony Sxs card. 3 san disk extreme 30mb/s 32gb cards in 3 MXM adapters. the MXM adapters are SD > SXS card adapters, so in total you get over 100GB memory, which works out around 182 of recording time. one of the "lids" of the MXM adapters has snapped (the are flimsy), this in NO way has any effect on any functionailty, you wont miss it, i promise.
obviously you can charge one battery while using the other, and empty memory cards to a laptop while recording on others, so you can easily film all day.
comes in a peli 1620 case. the case has a few cosmetic scratches where it has been wheeled around, but very few, looks nice and new, very professional. the case has a shoulder strap, dessicant inside it (moisture absorber), and 2 airport safe combination locks. it has room for the camaera, batteries, charger, cards, a few tools, a shotgun mic (not included), and everythng else.
the camera has a tiffin UV filter installed as a lens protector.
it comes with the user manual, and also a vortex media user gide, and vortex media DVD (pretty useful to learn it fast).
it also has a reinforced base plate fitted, cost around 100 quid, i cant remember what brand, its good. (the ex3 baseplate is small and unsafe on a tripod, ex3 cameras really need this modification to be used safely).
i asked the company whom i bought the warranty from, and unfortunately the camera is NOT under warranty once ownership is transfered. i suggest you get it insured the day you buy it/pick it up in case of any accident.
so you can see there is a lot of valuable extras here, and also think about the extra delivery charges were you to buy all this stuff sperately yourself. remember, you dont have to waste an afternoon figuring out which case is the right size, and which UV filter to buy, its all done, in one box, ready to be carried away and used.
PS, the camera is currently located in marlow in bucks, though it can be collected from st albans if you prefer it, whichever is convenient for you. please dont bid if you dont have immediate payment available, it will just be given to the 2nd highest bidder. please pay on the day of purchase, and preferably collect it the same or next day. i will accept paypal payment, or a bankers draft ONLY. if you need to raise limits on your paypal account in order to pay, do so now please, it takes 3 days.

just wanted to add that the winning bidder will be able to check the camera out when they pick it up, to see it is in full working order and in great condition. i do not expect anybody to buy something so expensive without getting a look at it first, so please bid with confidence.
i know its ending late on thursday night (8pm ish), but id love it if it could be picked up on thursday night also. if you cant come thursday night, it will have to be picked up/viewed in marlow, bucks (my mums house) and she will let you have a look at it. thursday night is best because ill be there then, and im much more knowledgeable and can give you the once over with more information.
i will also accept cash payment, but no bouncy cheques/checks.

ok last addition i swear.
if you want to pay by cheque, its ok, but we have to wait for the cheque to clear before you can take the camera.
