12 Volt DC IMMERSION WATER HEATER

You choose the output Wattage at the end of the auction

 

Example, 250 Watt Type 2.

 

Designed to heat up the storage water,

 in your domestic cylinder / tank by means of either

 

SOLAR VOLTAIC PANEL

or

 WIND TURBINE GENERATOR

 

Or anything which can generate a

 

Regulated dedicated 12 Volt DC Supply 

 

from a storage battery / accumulator system,

to feed the Immersion heater

 

FREE HOT WATER from WIND or LIGHT

 

The 12 Volt Immersion Heater has a 2,1/4” BSP Male thread,

 so it will screw straight on to a standard 2,1/4” BSP Female connection on your cylinder.

 The length of the single, double or triple heating elements are 18” long,hair pin bent which gives the wattage

 rating dependent on which ever wattage output model you choose,

it's free heat into your cylinder / storage tank.

 The unit has Black & Red electrical connections.

 for you to hand tighten your Negative & Positive 12 Volt DC supply cables to. 

This unit is so very easy to connect up, 

it has a built in red LED indicator light to let you know you have power going to it.

 

The single double or triple heating elements

dependant on which model you choose

have been especially designed

 and are only 17 mm at their widest point along its length

 so the element arrangement will actually fit down a 22mm copper tube.

Very easy to fit by any competent DIY person.

 

There are lots of other applications these Immersion heater's could be used for,

especially where there is no electric mains power available and you need hot water. 

 

What these very compact heating units are actually designed to do, is

continually heat up the water in your hot water cylinder / tank

24 hours a day wind or light permitting with free energy

So when you’re normal main heating system kicks in

 it will reach its water heating preset temperature much faster.

 

This will give you considerable saving's £££ €€€ $$$ off your

gas, electricity solid fuel or oil heating bill's.

All  our 12 Volt immersions are thoroughly tested prior to being dispatched

 

The sooner you start to use free energy the sooner you will start saving.

 

This has to be one of the cheapest ways of making a saving

 on your hot water heating fuel bill's.

We have been asked lots of questions about these immersion heaters

so here is some information to help guide your choice of model.

 

A 100 watt immersion will heat 1 Litre of water 1 degree C in 1 minute and draws just over 8 Amps.

A 400 watt immersion will heat 1 Litre of water 4 degrees C in 1 minute and draws approx 35 Amps.

A 1000 watt immersion will heat 1 Litre of water 12 degrees C in 1 minute and draws around 83 Amps.

 

The immersions do not have a built in thermostat so you will have

to link an external thermostat in if you require it to be thermostatically controlled.

They do however require a dedicated regulated 12 Volt DC supply

To achieve this ideally your wind generator or PV panel should supply

a battery bank arangement to store the energy generated.

The immersion is then supplied from the battery system through a regulator at 12 Volts DC.

The length of the heating elemments that protrudes into the water is 8" inches.

The body of the immersion heater is 4 1/2" inches long which includes the terminal posts.

Overall length of the immersion heaters are 12 1/2" inches long
