Linn’s flagship universal disc player, Unidisk 1.1 incorporates Linn’s proprietary Silver Disk Engine and delivers high quality audio or video from a range of ‘silver disc’ types, including CD, Super Audio CD, DVD-Video and DVD-Audio.

When a disc is loaded, the Unidisk 1.1 will quickly detect the highest performance signal available on the disc and will extract all digital information in the original format. This effectively means that the Unidisk 1.1 can be considered a separate CD, SACD, DVD-Video and DVD-Audio player in one box, automatically and precisely configuring itself to give the best possible performance for the most involving audio and video experience. When operating in audio mode video circuits are disabled.

For those who enjoy surround sound music or movies, Unidisk 1.1 also features analogue and encoded digital multi-channel audio outputs, which have been optimised to deliver the best possible audio performance.

The Unidisk 1.1 contains an automatic internal mains voltage switch.  This switch works on all worldwide mains voltages from 100v to 240v.
