Most of the problems I have had are because Royal Mail has lost the parcel. I do always get a proof of posting, but Royal Mail do not consider a parcel ‘lost’ until it is 15 days overdue (25 days for an over-seas parcel). Only THEN can I refund/replace etc. We have to allow Royal Mail to sort their problems first. But I feel it is only fair to say that apart from around the time of the strikes last year they have lost less than 30 parcels of mine - that's not bad really, considering how many I send out and I can tell from other sellers that this is a general problem.
Please note all Parcels posted through Royal Mail are insured for up to about £35 so for most of my items further insurance is not necessary.
It really hurts being left an unfair feedback. Please think about that if/when you leave negative feedback, I DO take it personally. I am honest, I bend over backwards sometimes to be reasonable, responsible and efficient but despite that as one of my buyers put it if it's not gold plated and delivered yesterday you can't please everyone! But I try hard to have only satisfied customers.
Please note I always try to post on the day or the day after I have received payment but life happens and so that is not always possible, but I try my best! I believe 95+% of my items are posted within 2 working days of payment. Here are a few feedback comments about speed of dispatch. (All these items were posted in the 2 week run-up to Christmas)

Please note about once a month I am often away for a couple of days, usually with access to a computer so I can probably answer queries etc, my staff are able to post out 99% of items but I’m unable to deal with some queries or problems on those days. Sorry but these are my respite breaks (I have 2 disabled children) and these are absolutely vital!! I do try to take them so there is as little disruption to e bay buyers as possible.
Postage costs - I try to be very fair about postage costs. The good news is, that if you buy more than one item from me I will usually reduce postage costs AND the more you buythe more the reduction. Please see postage costs quoted for this item on this listing. The bad news - e bay’s calculator is not flexible enough to mesh with Royal Mail’s charges so if e bay doesn’t combine postage automatically, or if you buy several different items or even if you have bought more than 3 of any one item, ask for an invoice, that way I can combine the postage costs. (The main exceptions are things that weigh almost 1 kg going second class, as Royal Mail have a policy that anything over 1kg cannot go second class. So I have to post separate parcels anyway. The main culprit there are the 25 x tablecloths. ) But for several smaller items, this usually means you get a big reduction AND I can post them first class. Just be assured I will do my best for you. In the past I have refunded over-payments when new/naive buyers have paid too much. That is currently running at about 6 refunds per day. But please it is much easier and more efficient if you request an invoice before you pay. Again it's that honest streak in me! I'll never be a millionaire. :-)

Overseas postage / shipping information
- We are happy to send items overseas and we appreciate our overseas
buyers.We send a high proportion of items overseas every day and mostly
items arrive within 3-10 days. Below please find information about
Western Europe delivery is usually 3-7 days
Eastern Europe - delivery is usually longer - varies widely from 5-25 days
Australia is our most popular long distance destination and items usually arrive within 5-7 days
USA e bay have ruled that we can now only send to USA
by a tracked service, I am sorry but this does add to the cost for the
buyers BUT I agree with e bay as we have had many issues because of
Homeland Security / Customs delaying items and US buyers being
dissatisfied. This has obviously caused e bay issues too. So US buyers
please select the Airsure option when ordering.
Mail do not consider an overseas parcel 'lost' unti it is 25 days
overdue. Only THEN can I refund or replace. Except for the following;
we post items immediately and Royal Mail are fantastic, postal services
in other countries are a lot less efficient. If you come from these
countries, please note;
Russia - items can take 6-8 weeks to arrive, but I believe most Russians already know the system,
South America shipping time seems to be 4-6 weeks.If you are not happy to wait that length of time, please do not buy from us.
