This is a Jackson Soloist SLSMG, which has an EMG 81 in the bridge and EMG 89 in the neck. The bridge pickup is great for metal rhythm, from Iron Maiden or Judas Priest tone right through to death metal brutality. The neck pickup is coil-tappable to give a singlecoil or humbucker sound, and is great for metal lead tones. In singlecoil mode it is also great for clean sounds. It has a mahogany body, mahogany through-neck, and ebony fretboard. There are a few dings on the body, a few small chips of paint have come off, and the matt finish on the back of the neck has worn to gloss on the back of the neck through a lot of play. I'm selling this as I no longer use it. I will post the guitar in a gig bag. If you are able to collect the guitar from me, I will accept payment in cash.

The guitar is currently fitted with gauge 9 strings, and tuned to E standard, however upon purchase I will be happy to restring it with new strings in your choice of gauge, and set it up in your choice of tuning.
