For sale is my beloved 1969 Morris minor. This is my first Morris and I've had it for 3 years and it breaks my heart to sell it but unfortunately it failed it's MOT pretest on welding underneath it and I don't have the time, a garage or the money to do it so I'm looking for a loving home. This car does not have an MOT, hence the cheap price.
1098 CC engine, not restored but I haven't had a breakdown in over a year! at 102,495 miles. Recently serviced, Oil change, new spark plugs, new air and oil filter, new fanbelt (brand new spare one included), new starter motor brushes, new starter solenoid. New fuel tank sender unit. New front flasher/sidelight units. stainless steel exhaust up to the manifold. Fuel pump cut off switch fitted (don't make my mistake and turn it off unawares!) Last month had 4x brand new tyres, not original width but on original steels, run great and smooth out the bumps. (spare tyre included but still on original tyre.) Includes a fully waterproof cover which I bought in January for £100 Ariel fitted, also got a positive and negative for a radio wired in. New rear windscreen seal, new front windscreen seal, both rear windows seals new, new door seals. New fuel pump (old one included for parts if needs be, it's non working, I don't have the brains to fix it but you might!) Interior is not looking great, never got round to doing it, no carpet as I was chasing leaks around it (hence all the new seals) No headliner as all the leaks had destroyed it. Previous owner had fitted all fibreglass wings and front grill and boot lid, so no rust there! This car drives beautifully and I've recently driven it up to Bath from my Home in Devon. It needs a little bit of adjusting here and there e.g. brakes, angle of headlights. Nothing massive. Includes a few small parts I've bought and never fitted like a new wiper wheel box and grommet and such. I've done so much to this over the years I may of missed something but please just ask and I'll try my best to answer it. Located Near Bath, UK. Come and have a look at it, sold as seen of course but I won't ever lie about his condition, as you can see from my detailed description, I love this car and I just want someone to love it and bring him back to his former glory. |
