------------Coin re-listed due to non-paying buyer bouncing a cheque--------------
This a 'Buy it Now' for an 1847 Queen Victoria 'Gothic' Crown, with crowned cruiciform shields, emblems in angles and Undecimo edge - ESC 288 & Spink 3883.
The edge inscription is correct and shows 'et' next to the 'V' in Victoria on the Obverse, and 'tur' of Tueatur on the Reverse.
This excellent example I would grade as a good EF - near Uncirculated, as on close inspection under a glass it shows only very minor signs of wear on the upper raised surfaces of the coin. However, it does exhibit some light hairlines in the blank fields which are typically associated with Proof coins and there are also a couple of very small and minor contact marks on the Obverse.
The coin has a nice even flan, a very attractive deep even toning as well as an excellent edge with no knocks or bruises - a very pleasing and eye-catching example of what is arguably the most beautiful coin ever minted. Judge yourself, I do grade and describe my coins as accurately as possible and you can check my Feedback and buy with complete confidence. I have sold several Victoria Gothic Crowns on eBay in the last couple of years, but this is without doubt the best example I've had and is a top quality piece.
Money back guarantee if not as described.
