Brand: Premier Sub-Type: Acoustic Drum Kits
 Vintage Premier Olympic '1031' drum kit - circa early 1970s (I think). It's an ideal discerning beginner's kit or could brush up nicely as a jazz/club kit (which is what I intended to use it for). Much better made than the modern FEPOS beginner's kits.

12"x8" rack tom, 14"x14" floor tom, 20"x14" bass drum and 14"x5" snare. The tom holder is the earlier version, not the later Lokfast one.

Drums are probably mahogany, snare is steel.

Comes with straight stand, snare stand, bass drum cymbal mount, hi-hat stand and some cymbals.

The cymbals are not in the best of nick - the hi-hats are unnamed brass, the crash a 16" 60's Avedis, and the ride an 18" 5-Star Super Zyn, but the 16" and 18" have small cracks, so they're best thought of as a practice solution rather than a giggable setup. Don't sound too bad for all that, though.

I cleaned up and sorted all of the drums with Autosol, but didn't have time with the stands. They all work fine though.

Toms have coated Ambassador batters and clear Diplomat resonants - the snare has a Fibreskyn batter. The original resonant head is included for the bass drum, though it's been through the wars.

The drums sound lovely - warm and rounded, and will tune across a wide range. The snare cuts through, though could do with a new reso and set of wires.
