Broadcaster Tenor Banjo
19 fret (GDAE)
This is a Tenor Banjo from the 1920s -30s - though the hard case with it may be a later addition
The banjo looks to be in entirely original condition - brass metalwork and nacrilaque (pearloid) covering to fingerboard, sides and resonator. All in very good condition, with one slight chip (see photos) which does not affect playing at all. In particular, note that this has the original tuning pegs (see photo) - a great rarity in banjos of this vintage. Even the head skin looks to be original vellum. Of course, the bridge is a replacement.
All in all, this is an excellent and rare example of this model of banjo.
(Banjo stand NOT included)
I have stated collection only, but I will send by courier at cost if required. I estimate that this will be £15 to £20.
NOTE: I will not ship outside the UK
