A beautiful wash/shaving kit dating from the 1950s in a brown cowhide case. The kit comprises a mirror, nail file, toothbrush case (no toothbrush), brush, two powder canisters, a soap box and a shaving box. All the pieces are either stainless steel or chrome plated. The kit is in excellent condition and is missing only a comb.
Terms and Conditions:
(a) From UK buyers I accept Paypal, cheques, postal orders and bankers drafts. From non-UK buyers I accept Paypal only. If you intend to pay by any method other than Paypal, please let me know within 48 hours of the end of the auction.
(b) Payment is required within seven days of the end of the auction. I am happy to wait longer if a buyer contacts me within this time, but in the absence of contact and payment the contract of sale will be considered void after seven days.
(a) I do ship worldwide. If you are unable to bid because your country is blocked, please contact me and I will enable bidding in your region.
(b) I do combine postage for multiple purchases unless a particular item is so fragile that combining with another would risk damage in transit. If you pay for multiple items before the postage has been combined, a refund will be issued on the excess postage once the items have been dispatched.
(c) All items sold will be sent via a service that will require a signature. Within the UK, any item that sells for less than £40 will be posted using Royal Mail's First Class Signed For service, while any item selling for more than £40 will be sent Special Delivery. Outside the UK all items will be sent using Royal Mail's Airsure service regardless of value. Please ensure you are aware of the postage cost before bidding.
(d) Please be aware that charges are for postage AND packing. Envelopes, postal boxes and packaging materials are not free and thus the price on the stamp is not the same as the cost incurred in posting. Further, as ebay are now taking 10% commission on postage, this charge will have to be passed onto buyers for lower value items.
(e) As I have a 46 mile round trip to the post office and fuel is expensive, I only post items on Tuesdays and Fridays unless buyers specifically request postage on another day of the week.
3. Bid Stacking: Please be aware, I do not permit bid stacking on my items. Bid stacking is a tactic used by some buyers whereby they place multiple bids on an item when they are the initial or highest bidder in order to discourage other bidders. Where three or more bids are placed by an individual in the absence of competing bids, all bids from that individual will be cancelled.
(a) I do accept returns. However, return postage costs will only be refunded where there is a gross error in the description or where an item is damaged in transit.
(b) Please contact me before returning any item - return postage will NOT be paid for any item returned without prior agreement.
(c) The purchase price and outgoing postage costs will always be refunded upon the return of an item in satisfactory condition.
5. Feedback: I do not leave feedback for buyers until feedback has been left for me - this is because I do not regard a sale as complete until the buyer expresses satisfaction with their purchase. If you are unhappy for any reason please contact me before leaving feedback so any issues may be resolved.
6. Other: Please do not contact me asking to sell an item outside of ebay, using ebay's Buy It Now facilities or with offers contingent upon ending an auction early. All such requests will be reported to ebay. If you miss the opportunity to bid on an item you are welcome to contact me to ask for that item to be relisted at the earliest opportunity and to be notified when it is online.
