1967 AUSTIN HEALEY SPRITE - REALLY PRETTY EARLY MODEL!

1967 Austin Healey Sprite in red (yes, bright red and not the orange tinge my camera always seem to put into red cars!).

These early Sprites are hugely sought after, coming with the 1098cc engine, bigger chrome bumpers, correct spec leather seats etc. This is a particularly nice example which will come with a new MoT. It’s a very strong car that has not been messed about with and drives and handles superbly. They really are a bucket load of fun!

Interior is excellent and the hood is as good as new. Personally, I prefer the hood arrangements on these early Sprites and Midgets as the frame lifts out of its holders and both hood and frame are stored away in the boot, making for a much crisper looking shape to the car.

This lovely old Sprite is ready for immediate use and I can only fault it on a couple of small cosmetics, the worst of which I show in photo number 4. There are a couple of cracks in the paint towards the front of the bonnet, a tiny piece of paint blebbing at the very bottom of the nearside A post and the trailing edge of the rear quarter panel (same side) could do with tidying up. None of these areas that I point out are real problems and do not really detract from the overall appearance, feel and fun factor.
