This highly competitive 1967  Triumph 750 c.c.  M.C.S. Classic Racing Sidecar outfit which was developed and self modified over a 5 year period of racing by Matt Cox and proved itself by being the outright winner of the British Historic Racing Club’s 2010 Championship for Classic Three Wheel Kneelers which is known as Race 19

I bought the outfit at the end of that season exactly as it  left the track complete with all the debris of hard racing, with the intention of using it in the 2011 season, and had professional help in preparing it  to that end from Mick Cross of M.P.C.Sidecars  and latterly by G and T Motorcycles, of Daventry who have fully serviced it, replaced worn and /or damaged parts and checked, and prepared it  as ready to race. Because of my age related aches and pains and not being able to run!!!! I find that push starts are not really for me and I will still carry on running my F1 machine which has the benefit of starting “on the button” so I have decided, albeit reluctantly, to offer This Triumph outfit  as a READY TO RACE machine, the specifications of which are:- A period, self modified chassis, 10” rear and sidecar wheels.  16” front with Lockheed racing brakes all round (twin discs on front, single on rear). Period fairings and bodywork..The engine is a pre-unit Triumph with a Morgo hi-comp conversion with special cams, flowed cylinder head. Con rods and much modified crank, twin mk 2  34 mm Amal carbs on a tuned inlet tract, Boyer electronic ignition, Hi-flow facet fuel pump & regulator. The gearbox is a modified 5 speed, and this machine FLIES, as well as handling well. It benefits from having been fitted with new clutch basket front sprocket and chain as well as drive chain. New handlebar grips, rubber, and petrol piping, levers, throttle cables, All handholds have been re covered, and the whole machine has been cleaned, polished to a high standard. I have personally tested at an airfield circuit and have found it to handle well AND due to being run on Castrol R racing oil IT SMELLS as classic machines should!!!!  BETTER THAN SEX !!!!!!!!   Any queries, please ask
