Here we have my very nice Ford Capri 2.0 Ghia 5sp manual (Tpe 9 box fitted), finished in gold with a lovely brown velour interior, the car indicates 33000 miles which i believe to be correct owing to me having a lot of previous Mot's and also in how the car drives. All steering column switch gear are very crisp in operation which also says they havent been used much.

The car itself is in great condition with a lovely straight body with no rust on any arches wings doors etc, its had a healthy dose of Waxoil which over the years have certainly helped to preserve the old girl.

I would say the car has had a coat of paint at some time in its life but done to a good standard but remember the car is now 33 years old, so dont expect the car to be in as new condition, some slight bubbling on the rear lower 1/4s, Scuttle panel grill has some surface rust, as i said earlier there is zero rust on the wings or rear arches, front/rear valences are like new as are the doors which havent dropped.

Original Ford key starts the car and works on both door locks and boot lock.

The interior is without doubt in fantastic codition with no wear on the seats, carpet etc. The dash is not cracked. all dials work well and can still be seen at night as the dash lights are still bright enough!!! The heater works great but has the usual fan problem and the heated rear window doesnt work. Sharp FM radio cassette fitted due to no FM on the standard radio (supplied) electric aerial sill working well. No extra speaker holes!!

Mot'd until June and taxed to August

The car drives spot on with no whines or clunks, unleaded head fitted so no messing about with additives.

Brand new 2in Sportex axhaust fitted inc manifold, sounds really nice!!

All bronze tinted glass still present, opening rears.

The wheels on the car are brand new and wont come with the car unless by prior negotiation, the original Ghia alloys will be fitted

As far as i know the car has never been welded and is a very strong shell which will last for years to come, original strut tops with chassis stamp, A posts as new as are boot hinges.

The sunroof slides but doesnt tilt (suspect switch over lever) never bothered me but i like to be honest.

The reason i am listing the car is that i fancy something a bit older, if it doesnt sell i wont be losing any sleep!!!

So there you have it one very nice early 2.0 Ghia which gets admired everywhere it goes, ideal for the summer months and for someone starting out in the Classic car scene.

The car can be viewed anytime as i use it every day

Good luck and thanks for looking
