welcome to my auction for my mercedes 230ce pillarless coupe it has NO mot and tax so this is a project or spares for someone it needs very little to get it throught a mot (tyres and brake discs) the car was stood for 2 years and with some fuel and a new battery it fired up first time and runs lovely, i drove it up the road and it drives very well going through the box with no knocks or bangs, i gave it a wash and polish and it has come up a treat it has got a few rusty patches on the archs (pics) but on the whole it looks great for its age all the chrome and trim are in really good condition and everything works inside even the electric sunroof! but the drivers seat does have a wear hole in the bolster, i have a new bonnet star on its way to make this car complete. the alloys are in good condition as not damaged or buckled but they do look like they could do with a paint up, the tyres are perished and could all do with replacing. the brakes need cleaning up or replacing they are not worn just surface rust the chassis is in great condition its never been welded and doesnt need to be, the bodywork is good but there are a few chips small dings and rusty patches as pre mentioned but remember this car is 27 years old i would like to find someone for this that will give it the love it needs and get another 27 years out of it. i have the v5 but no history but just looking at this car you can tell its not had a hard life please dont bid if you have less than 10 feedback without contacting me first any questions please email if you want a chat to find out more message through ebay and i will send you my number cash on collection happy bidding...............
On 04-May-12 at 17:17:17 BST, seller added the following information: The mercedes now has a brand new bonnet star on the grill (genuine mercedes) , the car has black cloth seats i will see if i can upload a pic tonight, there is a cd player and focal speakers in the car but the player does like to keep hold of the cd's so would need looking at also there is a immobilizer on the car |
