Opel Rekord (like Vauxhall Carlton) 1986 C Reg 2.0S 4 speed manual Left Hand Drive - LHD Short MOT to 4.8.12 Tax to end of April 2013 - not included in the sale but will be offered at a discount to the buyer Mileage 110k (171,000 kms) Runs fine but as it needs a few jobs doing is being sold for spares or repair. Looking for quick sale before the MOT expires. Advert. for sale elsewhere. Any Reasonable offer will be considered.
Not so good bits Noisy transmission Dented bonnet and wing - see pictures (grey primer to stop rust) Noisy heater fan Tyres are cracked with age Needs a good service as will always start first time but needs to be churned a bit when hot. Tickover is a little high Probably a few other minor bits and pieces. Wing mirror damaged and elec mirrors not working At the moment it has 4 after market hubcaps as one of the originals went missing. The remaining three come with the car. Better bits Tow bar with working electrics Very clean bodywork and solid underneath. No welding at all needed Very good interior apart from a few trim bits. Has a 6 CD changer in the boot but this will be taken out unless buyer wants it at very modest cost (£50). Its a good runner but needing some TLC as it is hardly used.
Hoping to get around £350 for it but starting at £225 with no reserve so the highest bidder will get it.
