This auction is for our household pet the BMW E30 convertible with the classic lines not since equalled. We have owned her for 7 years and she came from a friend who owned her for 6. It has been great fun but owning two cars is now a bit too much especially as this one only goes out on nice days, hence the 89000 odd miles on the clock.
No pets, no smokers, just two old fogies.
Mechanicaly she hasn't blinked and starts first time every time. Internally she is very good for her age - 21 this year - with no rips or tears. However, both plastic surrounds on internal door catches are broken. Two lights on the dash have been lit for 7 years. There are two keys. Externally, she has 21 years of scratches and chips, none deep and all consistent with a car of this age. No obvious dents, rust is not easy to find. The central locking works best from the boot lock. We have left the electric windows alone, but our garage opens and shuts them and says they are ok. The hood has no rips or tears but is a bit frayed round the edges. There is a small repaired nick in the rear plastic screen. There are advisories on the last MOT 800 miles ago, described as "slight" or "not excessive" except for "fuel pipe corroded" and "gear box mounting defective". Our local garage has looked after her for 13 years, (ourselves and previous owner) and does what is necessary each year.
Our description is as honest as we can make it. Please ask any questions you wish. The car is advertised elsewhere and may be withdrawn at any time. Please remember you are bidding to buy. Please make contact within 48 hours of auction closing and collect and pay in cash within 5 days.

An afterthought which we had forgotten about until using the car today. The indicators do not self correct and need to be manually returned to position. Just one more idiosyncracy of an old lady!!
