We have recently taken this in px from a nice chap who drove it over 300 miles to us all the way from Scotland so clearly it is ultra reliable as indeed these Toyota's always seem to be.
In fact the chap informed me he had looked after the mechanics very well with bills showing new discs and pads and a wheel bearing in May this year.New glow plugs, fan belt, and complete exhaust were done in January this year.A new leisure battery was fitted this year and both the van batteries were renewed last year. The owner informed me the cam belt was changed in 2009 although no bill is evident. The speedo reading is 19,900 which is obviously incorrect looking at the vosa record it had 3207 miles in 2010 when it was mot'd therefore mileage is sold as seen.
The current mot is until May 2014 and taxed until the end of August.
The bodywork is poor and has had previous amateur repairs done to it,you can see it is all in one piece though, having said that it is old and it is a camper at the lower end of things.
The pictures accurately represent the interior. It makes a double bed from the seats in a rock and roll type of seat and makes a double for children up the top.
As i said previously it is clearly very reliable and the engine sounds as sweet as a nut,
The conversion is by Devon who are one of the longest established companies.
It comes with a gas bottle and a hook up lead.
If you want a camper on the cheap to improve as you go then this is ideal. We sold one a bit older earlier in the year for 6k -check our feedback the buyer from The Falkland Islands was delighted!
If i have missed anything of particular importance to you then please ask as you do bid to buy not to reserve the right to view first.Viewing is welcome and should be done before you bid.
As it is no reserve auction i do expect swift contact from the winning bidder otherwise i will waste no time in offering it to the under bidder.
I can collect the winning bidder from the local train station which is in March (Cambridgeshire).
I do have some buyer requirements set to try to avoid the ebayers who constantly bid with no intention of buying.Unfortunately being relisted due to waste of time ebayer who failed to contact me to collect the vehicle and the under bidder also failed to contact me ,please only bid if you intend to purchase it surely that is common sense.
