In Soul Calibur IV you can meet many differnet characters. From ugly knights, demons and monsters to cute girls and hot chiks with blades, sword and freaky wepons. It's a fighting game that throws you back in time, but brings you also a ray of future with some fresh characters like the apprentice of Darth Vader. Yoda is also available on ps store if you are a ps3 owner or if you have an XboX you can buy Darth Vader. Be careful when buying Yoda thru ps store. I had a bad experience when I bought it. My game was an USA edition, but I downloaded Yoda thru my country store that didn't fit for that version. My favorite part of the game is the fighter creation. You can create almost everyone so you can play with who you want. That's genius!

I come from SoulCalibur III on the good old PS2 and I played SoulCalibur II as well on that console. With this title, the developers disappointed me, it's nowhere near the greatness of SC3, with its fantastic story mode including quick time events different for each character and the thing with the Chinese empire was just awesome. SC4 has only 2 modes aside from multiplayer (which I haven't played because NOBODY PLAYS IT), and they're "Story", and "Tower of Souls" that you can ascend or descend. The Tower is pretty well made, it reminded me a lot of the side story (the China thing) of SC3, but the challenges are weird and getting all the prizes is impossible if you don't follow an online guide (plus, I'm from Italy and the traduction is awful, the hints you should get from the game are incomprensible and I'm being gentle), and the story mode is average, really nothing special. I loved the Star Wars characters, I think they used the original voices from the movie and it's really great, but knowing what they could do from the epicness of SC3 tells me a lot about this game. Also they used the same animations from SC2, which is bad for me but for others could be good. I'm not gonna buy SC5 and instead I think I will head towards Street Fighter series, which is known to be more balanced and surely better than this game. Can't recommend it.Read full review
Its one of the best combat games. Excellent graphics, great AI, smooth gameplay. You get to choose from a wide range of combat arenas and characters to play each brandishing their own weapons.
