2001 Ford Galaxy Ghia 24V Automatic 7 seater
I have been using Ebay for 10 years during which I have sold several cars. Every buyer has been surprised at their quality:
"great honest ebayer" - April 2012
"thanks, the car is great" - Nov 2010
"Excellent seller, car much better than described. Bargain!!" - Oct 2010
" Terrific, careful and thoughtful seller and a great car - thank you! 100% gold!" - Nov 2008
Sadly eBay cars are often problematic. I have a large family and would never want them stranded by the side of the road, or worse, and I wouldn't want to be responsible for that happening to anyone else. So, I wouldn't sell this if I didn't think it was sound.
This is a very straight Galaxy and I have set the reserve at the minimum it is realistically worth. I have had it for 2 years, there are no warning lights on the dash and as far as I'm aware everything works. The interior is amazing for a car of this age (I've used waterproof covers), the exterior suffers from the previous owner's inept enthusiasm with touch up paint and some tiny motorway chips, and the windscreen has a small repairable chip I haven't bothered to tackle.
It has the bigger engine, so isn't as frugal as some models, but my experience of being loaded with five people and luggage is the smaller engines really struggle. We have recently bought a merc which turned out to be a money pit, no longer need two vehicles, and so are selling this to pay off what's been spent on the other one.
It was MOT'd on 3rd December 2013, no advisories.
Stamped service history to 94,000 miles.
Taxed until June 2014.
New tyres all round early last year.
Car comes with 2 keys.
Timing chain, so no expensive cambelt changes.
Full service May last year inc fully synth oil, new brake discs and pads, 4K travelled since.
All electrics working and no warning lights on dash.
It doesn't use any oil or water.
AirCon works fine.
New Witter towbar fitted two years ago.
Recently upgraded 'blue' bulbs.
Interior seats virtually unmarked, all seat adjusters and all belts working, integral rear child seat.
Ford CD Radio with CD auto changer in rear.
I am self-employed and so reasonably flexible for showing you the car. I am happy for you to have an AA/RAC survey done. Please, no 'mechanic friends' who'll rev the guts out of it. Payment will be an immediate deposit of £200 by Paypal followed by cash when you pick-up. There will be no haggling on the doorstep (well, you can but I won't join in). I want the car gone within 10 days of the auction finishing, please, because I'm paying for parking in a controlled zone.
If you have any questions, then don't hesitate to email.

For some reason I don't understand, the listing says I will post the car. That's not true and this is definitely collection only.
