GENERAL TERMS:

Item Description / Return:

Gloucester Bike Specialist Ltd will endeavour to list items as accurately as possible, but if Buyers are not satisfied with an item then we reserve the right to offer a full purchase price refund including the P & P price to finalise on any past, present or future claims with regards to the item in question. Any agreed part refund will be at management’s discretion and if an agreed settlement is not achieved then the above will apply.

Payments:

Preferred method of payment is either by Credit or Debit Cards or Paypal. (Not American Express). Buyers may choose to pay by cheque but items will not be released until monies have cleared our account. Please bear in mind cheques may take 5 – 7 too clear. There are no charges for Debit Cards but there is a 2.5% charge for the use of a Credit Card. If Buyers have arranged too collect items then cleared funds must be provided prior to or upon collection. All card payments will only be dispatched to the Card Holders address unless.

Payments for any item must also be received within 4 working of auction end unless agreed with Gloucester Bike Specialist Ltd and the winning Bidder. After this time period Items will be re-listed and possible adverse feedback may be considered.

VAT:

Please bear in mind Gloucester Bike Specialist Ltd are responsible for any VAT implications within the total selling figure. Included in this are the VAT costs for any postage and packaging that may be applicable from our couriers and the VAT element on the item sold. For arguments sake an engine sold for £150 inc delivery will net to circa £127 ex VAT.

Mileages:

Any speedometer readings indicated, although taken directly off the bike, where possible, have not been investigated. The accuracy of the speedometer must therefore be taken as ‘INCORRECT’.

Parts Condition:

In all cases used parts invariably are second hand and we will endeavour to clean them to the best of our ability but please allow for possibly some sort of cleaning plus possible either de-grease or in some cases additional lubrication prior to fitting.

General:

We will email each successfully bid on item i.e Buyer to confirm the order has been received and that the item is on it’s way. We may also include in this email our current list of stock, but more importantly all our company and contact details for you so you have them for future reference. Please bear in mind Ebay is our main source of motorcycle, used part listings and this will continue to grow in the future.

Postage & Packaging:

Dispatch Times:

Items in most cases will be dispatched within one working day of cleared funds and also dependant on the date and time cleared monies received to the Buyers Ebay address as stated on the sales invoice.

Postage Discounts:

Postage discounts will be offered to buyers who buy more than one item. The postage cost will be charged to at the higher amount on one of the items Buyers have one.

P & P Ratings:

With Ebays new rating systems, all our P&P charges include such items as Bubble-Wrap, boxes and tape etc. We do protect your item so please bear this in mind when bidding on items. All items are sent either by Royal Mail 1^ST CLASS with recorded delivery including a tracking number. For larger items our Courier Service also includes a full tracking system.

General Note:

Please note the cost of P&P prior to bidding. If you feel it is excessive then do not bid. If you are successful then you are satisfying yourself with the costs or bid accordingly so we ask you to rate the P&P cost as being satisfactory on the feedback form. We use approved and competent delivery services that are not necessarily the cheapest but our experience has taught us they do the job well and that our packaging is above standard.

VAT:

Again, as with the part purchase price there is a VAT element in the delivery service. Gloucester Bike Specialist Ltd will be responsible for any VAT implications and any gross selling figures will include the VAT element.
