For sale is my Ducati 749S which I have had for the last 3 months. Unfortunately it has to go as I have another bike, and a recurring injury is not being helped by the riding position.
The bike currently has just over 31,000 miles on it, and is now being dry stored in Newbury. It has just had a complete valet and is now looking nice and clean again.
Carbon fibre air runner covers (originals provided)

Giamoto fully adjustable rearsets (originals provided but gear peg is snapped)
Termi asymetric exhaust system with Ducati Performance ECU (original exhaust silencer and front header pipe provided)

LED indicator mirrors (you can actually see past your elbows now)
Titanium rear axle adjusters (these are a work of engineering art)
Recent Throttle Body and TPS balance carried out at WM Snells Alton (common issue that has been rectified)

Carbon fibre vertical belt cover (original provided)
Ohlins adjustable steering damper (original provided - this came off a 749R)
Oberon clutch slave cylinder (original provided)

Pillion pegs are provided, but as I never ride 2 up they have been removed. I do not have the pillion seats anyways.
The bike will require the following in Jan / Feb time:

It will also require new tyres, the front is just coming up to the wear indicators, and the rear is starting to square off. I have put just over 2000 miles on, and with alot of road riding it has taken it's toll on the tyres.
There are visible scratches on the tank where a magnetic tank bag used to be fitted, and there is a small chip on the left side corner of the tank. (not dented)
The bike is 10 years old so there are chips and scrapes on the paintwork. The bike has been used yearly and this is reflected in the mileage, it needs to be ridden and not just used a couple of days every few years. There are no leaks from the engine, but the usual Ducati paint quality has shown in the flaking of the paint on the gearbox.
The clocks sometimes do not show all the digits, but the next day they can show everything clearly. It is not misting within the casing, I think the ribbon connector just needs a good clean.
The servicing light is illuminated, due to the oil services being carried out at more regular intervals, but this can be reset at the next belt service.
A datatool alarm is fitted, I have both black keys 2 x fobs and the all important red key.
I have carried out 1 x oil and filter service in the time I have had the bike and the previous owner kept a very detailed list of the work he and the dealerships carried out.
Please do not expect an immaculate show room bike, you would have to pay alot more for that. If you are looking for a reasonably priced entry into Ducati sports bikes, then this may be the answer, or a bike that can be set up for track days or a Radical project, then this is the one for you.
I'm gutted that the bike has to go, the guy who sold it to me said when you get it right riding this thing, it's magic, and he wasn't wrong.
