Here we have a 55reg 2005 sachs xtc125 project its done approx. 2900 miles. The last owner took it in the shed December 2008 to fit new sprockets for its mot. It was took to bits and he ended up getting a car so there it stood (or should I say they it lay) it stood up quite well. Anyway some of the nuts and bolds need cleaning but the frame and wheels etc. are good. The plastics aren’t mint but apart from the two ends on the noise cone there nothing major should clean up canny. He had already bought the sprockets but by the time I got it, I had to buy a chain as well. (sprockets are on) its still in bits because I’ve bought lots of new bits. New indicators, new pads front and rear, new battery oil and plug. Replacement mirror. So everything you need to make a nice little cheep fast bike is there.

The only really bad thing is I had force  the petrol cap off to get the old fuel out, caps are gold dust to find but I’ve got one with a key and an ignition (which are also hard to find) the only problem is I can’t get the Allan key bolts out of the old one will need drilling out.

This morning after I took the pics I put the new plug in, battery on and some clean fuel and after about 30 seconds of turning it over she fired straight up and sounded great, so it definitely a runner. About a week cleaning and putting the new bits on you’ll have a decent low mileage bike. The plastic will never look new but you can get bits for them. With this mileage mint you’d have to pay over a grand for one and considering all this one needs is putting back together its really cheep at the starting price, but you can decide. I will throw in the padic stand with it.
