SHIPPING AND DELIVERY TIMES
Parcels up to 2 Kilograms are sent via 1st Class Post. Parcels over 2 Kilograms and those of higher value are sent via Overnight Courier, FedEx, DHL, or other suitable courier service and a signature will be required upon delivery. Please allow up to three working days for delivery if item is in stock. We will often be much quicker.
Parcels up to 2 Kilograms are sent via Air Mail, for larger consignments and those of high value shipping methods vary according to destination. Please note we cannot ship tyres and batteries outside the United Kingdom. Please note even if payment for DHL/UPS/TNT is paid and we find actual shipping cost to exceed the paid amount then we will ship using the next best solution to ship using Signed International via Royal Mail or contact you via email for additional charges to be paid before we can dispatch.
Please allow up to 6-10 working days for deliveries to Europe. For other destinations and larger items please allow up to APPROX 6 weeks if items out of stock.
Whilst we will make every endeavour to deliver any orders to the purchaser on the date stated, the purchaser acknowledges that any delivery dates or times stated should be regarded as an estimate only If we hold an ordered part in stock and the order is placed before 3.30pm we will despatch the item on a next working day service, please see UK or Overseas deliveries below.
We cannot guarantee delivery for a certain day or time but you can expect delivery within 24 hours anytime between the hours of 8.00am and 7.30pm.
Not at Home: Please note that couriers require that someone be present to sign for all packages.
If nobody is available to sign for the package, the courier will leave a card notifying of the failed delivery attempt. This card will instruct customer to contact them to rearrange delivery.
The courier may attempt to leave package with a neighbour or failing that, will attempt delivery again within the next day or two.
If customer fails to receive or fails to contact courier, the parcel will be returned to us at the customer's expense.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to online, email and telephone orders.
We will collect and store any personal data that you may volunteer whilst using our services, e.g. placing an order.
Your title and name, known address, contact telephone numbers, e-mail address, order and payment details. Details may be forwarded securely to other parties in order to fulfil this order only. These will include delivery and payment partners.
We will collect and store information about you to allow us to firstly, process and fulfil any order requirements and secondly to provide you with information to keep you up to date on products, services or promotions we run from time to time. We may also use your information to contact you for market research purposes by email, phone or mail. You can opt out of this at any time, either by writing or emailing us.
Individuals registering their details or subscribing to the newsletter online may do so on the understanding that they are aware of the intended purpose for the collection of data. An opt-out option is available by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter we may send you.
Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds
Cancelations and refunds are at Design Corse's discretion and refunds are liable to a 5-10% fee from total if Design Corse is not at fault. Used Items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances unless agreed by design corse. Discounted items offered cannot be refunded or exchanged under any circumstances this is non-negotiable. Items which are incorrect fitment will be refunded only if they have not been modified by the customer, Customer may modify the part only after strict written permission from Design Corse.
We are bound by law to provide a no quibble 7 day return policy whereby customers can simply return unwanted items for a refund. It is the responsibility of the customer however to foot the bill for shipping any item back to us and the cost of shipping is not reimbursed. Exceptions to this are spare parts which have been mounted, parts/accessories in damaged packaging and electronic goods like ECU's, relays, switches, ... which cannot be returned.
If parts are modified without prior permission, they cannot be refunded or returned for a refund. Any damaged caused through modifying parts then Design corse cannot be held liable under any circumstances. Shipping charges or Return Customs Fees cannot be refunded as this is part of our policy in any case and will be reimbursed from the Customer account prior to any agreed refund. Items being returned due to fault, you will receive a full refund for the item/s minus the postage/shipping costs, you must bear the costs for the return postage, which must be recorded signed for and insured to full Value, this is non-negotiable.
The Customer has the right to return items in unused condition in its original sealed packaging within 7 day period if he/she is unhappy with the quality of the item in question for a refund minus shipping costs.
Please note: Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (but excluding bank holidays). If you order after 11.00am, please calculate your delivery time as if your order had been placed the following working day. If the material is in stock please consider 48/72 hours before shipping. During August Most of our Italian Suppliers are on Holidays till 28th August and if any of their item is sold out then it only will be shipped after their holidays in September.
All orders are sent via signed for delivery and the receiver must be in to sign for the item. If work delivery address is given by customer then receiver must sign, it is up to receiver to make sure that the work address given is trustworthy and any person signing at that address is directly linked to customer as Design corse will not be held liable if unknown person signs for package at the work address. When Item is received DO NOT SIGN FOR IT UNTIL OPENED AND CHECKED ALL ITEMS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION IF PACKAGE SHOWS ANY SIGN OF DAMAGE PLEASE REJECT DELIVERY FROM THE COURIER. After signing it means you have received items in good condition and they cannot be returned or refunded.
A note will be left by courier in some cases for redelivery and Royal Mail delivery will be held at your local postal office for 3 weeks before being returned to sender. Receiver must notify Design corse within 2 weeks of not receiving item so it can be tracked and resent if returned, if not notified Royal Mail packages are normally disposed of by the local postal office after 3 weeks. No refunds are given if the receiver has not notified Design Corse that delivery has not been received within 2 weeks of shipping when using Royal Mail delivery service.
Important: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified in this section. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay. We cannot control delays with customs in your country and therefore it is up to the customer to pay all relevant taxes and fees to local customs and excise. If there is any issues at customs due to high value or fee, Design Corse accepts no liability if items are ceased by customs or/and destroyed. If the parcel is returned due to fees not being paid then further shipping/Customs Fees/Product restocking costs 30-40% will be charged to the customer by Design Corse Ltd as their own discretion.
Any orders placed for Full Motocorse Exhausts/Mv Corse/Zard/Bodis or any OEM Parts/aftermarket as a non-stock special order item cannot be cancelled when production starts and refunds if agreed by Design Corse in such instance would have a stocking fee of 20% of total, Limited Edition Helmets are non-refundable as these are custom made to order & this is non-negotiable. Payments are taken when order is placed automatically and we do not have control over this as we are an e-commerce website. All our aftermarket parts that are track and race use only are not for Road use and therefore we cannot accept any liability in relation to accidents/injury if they are used on the road. Used Parts have no warranty or guarantee applicable and are sold as is, Design corse will not be held liable for any damages caused due to using used parts.
