Up for sale is my 2014 Trek Remedy 7 27.5 (650b) 15.5" frame size. The bike is in perfect working condition, I'm selling it because I've bought the 2015 Remedy.
The Remedy is a great all rounder, enough travel to have some fun on but light enough to pedal all day. I've raced a few gravity enduros on it and it's been perfectly adequate for those events.
I've upgraded the following parts:
Renthal 33t single chain ring
MRP chain guide
Shimano Zee rear derailleur
Rock Shox Reverb seat post
SRAM PC1071 chain (1 month old)
Hope Gun Smoke seat clamp
Shimano M760 XT cranks (well scuffed, but still good)
Alpha Platinum Aluminum, ABP Convert, Full Floater, E2 tapered head tube, press fit BB, internal derailleur & dropper post routing, magnesium EVO Link, ISCG 05 mount, downtube armor, Mino Link, 140mm travel
RockShox Revelation RL w/Solo Air, rebound, lockout, E2 tapered steerer, 15mm Maxle Lite, 140mm travel
Fox Evolution Series Float w/DRCV, CTD (climb-trail-descend) damper, rebound, tuned by Trek in California, 7.75x2.25"
Bontrager alloy, 15mm alloy axle front hub; Bontrager sealed cartridge bearing rear hub w/Bontrager Duster 28-hole Tubeless Ready rims
Bontrager XR3 Expert, aramid bead, 27.5x2.35"
Shifter: Shimano XT 10 speed
Front derailleur: none
Shimano M760 XT
Shimano HG62 11-36, 10 speed
Bontrager Evoke 2, chromoly rails
Seatpost: Rock Shox Reverb 100mm drop
Bontrager Low Riser, 31.8mm, 15mm rise
Bontrager Rhythm Comp, 31.8mm, 0 degree
FSA IS-2, E2, sealed cartridge bearing
Brakeset: Shimano SLX
Overall, the bike looks great! There are a few cable rub marks and I've tried to show the worst. There's also a dent to the left hand chain stay/swing arm. Hence the low asking price, considering the upgrades and the fact that the bike has been well maintained and in perfect working condition. It doesn't need a penny spent on it.
Please note: no pedals are included. The fork steerer has been cut so the stem can't be raised any further. On a small frame like this, you shouldn't need the bars higher. With the 650b wheels and 140mm travel fork, the bars are already high.
If shipped, the bike will be packaged professionally but will need assembly upon arrival.
Any questions, just ask.
