The ProtoX is one of the lowest cost prototype boards on the market. Don't let the price fool you, the ProtoX is in our opinion the most versatile too. Here's how it's "wired". Blue tracks are the top and red the bottom.
- Designed to support the Arduino, XINO, Amicus and others that are Arduino shaped.
- 3 joined trough holes in set out in pairs either side of a GND and power rail (down the centre). Enables easy connection to DIP devices and the majority of through hole parts.
- Has the silkscreen legend on the back so you can easily see which pin is which (an absolute godsend)
- Very useful SMT pads.
SOIC pads both narrow and wide to support any combination upto 28 pins.
TSSOP pads to support any combination upto 28 pins (mounts on underside of board and shares the SOIC through holes). 0.65mm pitch.
2 x SOT 223 (all 4 pads) for large SMD parts such as voltage regulators, power transistors, FET's etc
2 x SOT 22-3 (all 6 pads) for small SMD parts signal transisors, diodes etc
NOTE: SOT pads are shared so max of 2 of either type.
- Comes with 3 x 0.1uf noise filtering capacitors. One for the 3V3 rail, one for 5V and one you can configure in anyway.
- Comes with 3 x 8 pin header pins and 1 x 6 pin header pin (For boards with two 6 pin headers like the Arduino, simply break off the end two pins on one header with your fingers).
- Useful power blocks, 3 x group of 5, one pre conneted to GND the other two can be configured in any way.
- TX & RX pins brought out to front facing holes.
- Through holes to easily add 3 front facing LED's (bottom left 12 pads) or anything else of similar size.

Please read my terms of sale prior to bidding. This is important and ensures you are happy with our terms. We want your shopping experience to be a happy one and wish to avoid any complications later on.
Bidding: Please only bid on an item if you are intending to pay. This may sound obvious, but unfortunately this does happen occasionally. We reserve the right to cancel a bid in these extreme circumstances.
Payment: Payment must be received within 7 days of the auction ending. Failure to do this will usually result in the item being re-listed and a ‘non-paying bidder alert’ being raised. We are reasonable, so please communicate with us whenever necessary, before the 7 days after the auction ending has lapsed.
Overseas Bidders: Payment can only be made via PayPal.
Postage: We try to make sure the postage costs are fair, and cover the expenses necessary to get your product to you. Please only bid on an item if you are happy with the quoted postage.
Our preferred delivery method is via Recorded Delivery, as items are signed for and can be tracked if lost or delayed. This protects us, the seller, and the customer.
A receipt is obtained for all items sent by standard first class post (UK and International deliveries), and can be provided as proof of postage if an item is lost.
Feedback: We do hope you leave feedback for us, but for those who prefer to stay anonymous, we will only leave feedback for you once you have left it for us.
Lost Items: As mentioned above, we obtain proof of postage on all items sent, and these can be provided if the postal service has lost the item. We will do all we can to work with you to track a lost item with the Post Office, and will stay in contact with you for the duration of the search until an outcome is reached.
Faulty Items: All products are individually inspected before being dispatched, to ensure items are sent out in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your item is faulty, please return it to us within 14 days of receipt in its original condition. Upon inspection, we will be happy to replace or refund you in full if the item is found to be faulty. |
