1990 Ford Escort XR3I Convertible, Cabriolet, no Swap ;-)

The Car is on the pepper pot wheels but for an extra cost I will include the TSW's but the center caps are missing.

Selling my XR3I convertable because I dont need 2 soft tops!! (I now have a MX5!) I may not swap or PX for something?? (not a car though!!) 

Its a lovley runner and not "tappty" like somr of them are, Being a 1990 car it has the EFI engine which Im told is the better one? Why is it so cheap?? well the mot is due on the 2nd May, we have had it looked over and told it needs a rear side light bulb and the exhaust has a slight blow but is not that old so just needs re-sealing, its not loud its just a very slight blow.  The under side is very solid with no rust!! I am, as is the mot tester sure it will go through the mot once the exhaust has been done, Also the roof is not great! it hasnt leaked in the heavy rain but it has repairs all over so I wouldn't say it was 100% water proof! it was electric but that has been disconected, not sure why? it goes up and down manualy ok. the drivers side window glass does not close tight to the rubber? lastly the paint! it isnt going to win any shows! if you want a show car then your looking at the wrong car!  The paint work really needs a re-spray, depends if you want a perfect XR3I! the owner before me has wired in a fuel pump overide switch, It has a none std gear knob and someone has fitted rear headrests.

Inside the Escort has a nice set of half leather seats, Im told these are getting quite rare and are worth a bit on there own! they are not riped or torn, The car has been fitted with yellow dials but I do have a spare set of std clocks but they have lower mileage on them. There is no radio fitted.

The Electric windows work fine as do the electric mirrors, the car also has remote central locking and a alarm and immobilizer fitted.

I have prob missed something! so any questions please just ask, viewing is welcomed.

I forgot to say, The Escort has a heated front windscreen, I have also sorted the bulb now and all lights are now fine so its just the blow on the exhaust that need to be done. I cant get it MOTed as I have no insurance or tax to drive it to the mot station.
