This auction is for one piece of MAX7219CNG DRIVER MODULE +plus+ one pice of 9 digit red LED segment display suitable for your MCU project.
The display is a common cathode time-multiplexed type. This display is custom made and similar to those you can find in vintage calculators like famous TI58/59 and others.
The MAX7219CNG driver module is completely set up, soldered and tested. If you want the module as a kit, please let me know BEFORE bidding/buying the item.
There are two version: one is taller and the LED dispaly is detachable, while the other is lower profile, compact, with LED display soldered directly to PCB. Please let me know which version do you want. If received no info, random version will be sent.
Also it is possible to send the module with input pin header to be male (better for bradboard) or female (better for direct connecing to arduino's female headers using common male/male jumper wires). Please let me know which version do you like. If no info is received, module with male input pin header will be shipped.
If the male input pins are chosen, they could be traight (rising perpendicularily from the board, so the module "lies" on the bradboard such as on the vido) or angled (parallel to the board - then tne module "stands" on the bradboard). Or there could even be no header :-) Just pick your option.

You can download the sample code + library here.
Unzip the folder and copy the LedControl library folder to your \arduino-0022\libraries folder, then start the display_demo_max7219\display_demo_max7219.pde code.
How to connect the module to your Arduino:
pin 12 is connected to the DIn
pin 11 is connected to the CLK
pin 10 is connected to LD
5V is connected to VCC
GND is connected to GND
