This auction is for the 'I Win Psycho Rider',
This is a Custom designed and modified System built by myself,
I will cover as much detail as I can here but feel free to P.M. me with any questions you have or google the components listed for reviews as you wish
there is also the build log at http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/forum2.php?config=tomshardwareuk.inc&cat=13&post=311860&page=1&p=1&sondage=0&owntopic=1&trash=0&trash_post=0&print=0&numreponse=0"e_only=0&new=0&nojs=0
With many more photo's of the build and finished look
all parts were bought brand new unless specified, receipts will be provided with the buyers box of 'stuff'
And sorry for the cliche, but photographs really don't do this justice, at 27.5 inches high it is a beast (and Matte black is difficult to shoot :P)
Modified Case:
This started life as an In Win Dragon Rider (which is partially where I took the play on the name from) full tower case with the following modifications made,
user panel moved from the top of the case to the sidepanel/door, dust filter for the psu moved to the outside of the case for ease of access, acrylic window added,
name plate with logo backlit custom made for the build (frame and design created by myself, actual logo was custom made for me)
roofbox created for cable management and water line routing
additional 120mm fan added to the front bezel behind drivebay covers
motherboard backplate cover (Created by self)
The cables in this unit, well, you will struggle to see them, my cable management is OCD-level and I have gone to enormous lengths to hide,re-route and otherwise make them invisible, resulting in a very clean-looking build
Radiator mounted to the rear of the roof, two 'T-virus' reservoirs to the front and lines routed through the roof and into the roofbox for concealment
Motherboard and processor: AsRock 890fx Deluxe 5 motherboard (AM3+ socket) and an AMD 975 black edition processor overclocked to 4GHz (Occt and Prime95 tested)
Graphics cards: Two Asus 69502 Gb direct CUII's in crossfire and completely at factory settings for now, these are two of the biggest cards I have ever seen, each one takes three pcie slots and it really impacts the visual aspect of the Rig,
capable of supporting up to twelve monitors even at stock settings, (if you have twelve monitors, I envy you)
I am willing to overclock the cards for you, but I will not attempt to flash the bios, that would be at your own risk
Hard drive: I used a Seagate Barracuda 500Gb unit I already had, its new and unused but old (7months) if you know what I mean, and I suspect that an SSd would be a good addition to the build
Ram: 8Gb of Corsair vengeance 1600MHz with black spreaders
Watercooling: This build is cooled by the XSPC Rasa RX240 kit which I have modified to include two blue FrozenQ liquid fusionv2 reservoirs (The Infamous T-Virus reservoir) that I have actually had to order from the guy in America and have shipped over here due to U.K. suppliers not having them, and the RX240 radiator is mounted on the roof as you see, all lines are out of sight apart from the ones to and from the Cpu block
Throughout the build I have swapped the factory fans (Except the 220mm from the doormesh which was removed completely) for Gelid blue 120mm's and there are eight in total over the original 4 supplied
In the event you've never had a W/c system before I will explain to you in person the things you will need to know (maintenance, flushing out etc) as this loop is rather 'interesting' in its construction but simple once you know the trick :)
I have installed an Oem copy of Win7 ultimate 64 bit
Due to the weight and sensitivity of a watercooled system, let alone one like this I must insist on Collection only,
I absololutely will not box this up and trust Dhl, Parcelforce or any other courier to respect the item inside (and at around 25kg its not a lightweight)
There is also the 'buyers box' for you including all receipts, manuals spare/unused parts etc that have come with the build components and a 5L bottle of distilled water for when you do your flushes
There is the build log on Toms hardware, (link above) with more pictures and can also be read through if you want to see how it was all done
I have a reserve of the component cost to me so thats the start price, I will entertain offers but the listing would not be removed until payment is received
which by the way must be cash on collection as my PayPal limits will be insufficient to allow full payment that way (Personal acc, not business)
So once more,
Collection only, I assume you know this means U.K. buyers only as well
£100 deposit on Paypal, remainder in cash on collection
Thanks for looking, and please bid or P.M. me if you would like to own this imposing beast
