About this charity:
UNICEF is the world's leading organisation working for children and their rights. We work with communities, partners and governments in over 150 countries to help every child realise their full potential. We support children by providing health care, nutrition and education. We protect children affected by crises including war, natural disasters and HIV/AIDS. UNICEF receives no money from the UN Budget. We rely entirely on voluntary donations from individuals, governments, institutions and corporations.

Attention, Hiddlestoners! Heads up, Marvel fans! We've got an amazing treat in store for one generous reader - and Great Ormond Street Hospital will benefit.
In 2011, Empire's Chris Hewitt hosted a press conference for Thor at Claridge's in London with director Kenneth Branagh, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston. During the conference, Hiddleston started sketching something on a pad: a rough sketch of Loki's helmet. We asked if he could sign it, and we took it, intending to auction it off for charity.
And then we lost it. If you've ever been to our offices, you'll know how this was possible. Today, though, we found it - and the timing, with Hiddleston and Hemsworth currently reprising their roles as the warring Asgardian brothers in Thor: The Dark World, just couldn't be better.
So, it's rather simple. If you want to own this absolute one-off sketch of Loki's horned helmet by the man who plays Loki, then get bidding now. All proceeds from the winning bid will go to our, and Tom's, chosen charity - Unicef. Now that's a cause even Loki could get behind.
