Artists and songwriters from across the EMI family have been supporting the Red Cross to raise funds for the people affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Over the next three weeks, incredible auction items from more than [60] of the world’s biggest stars will be available to bid on to help this important cause.
Artists supporting the appeal include: Coldplay, David Bowie, The Chemical Brothers, Corinne Bailey-Rae, Sting, Duffy, Keith Urban, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Beastie Boys, Michael Franti, Queen, Tiziano Ferro, Juan Luis Guerra, Herbert Gronemeyer, Raphael, Norah Jones, Katy Perry, Iron Maiden, Jane Birkin, Pink Floyd, Gorillaz, the Beach Boys, Depeche Mode, Good Charlotte, 30 Seconds To Mars, Jeff Bridges, Tinie Tempah, and Deadmau5.

The massive earthquake and resulting tsunami that struck Japan on 11 March have caused widespread destruction and suffering, relayed on television screens around the world. More than 8,000 people have died in the disaster, thousands are injured and at least 12,000 are missing. Many people are living in evacuation centres as 14,000 homes have been destroyed and around 100,000 are damaged.
The costs of the relief effort, and of rebuilding the homes and lives of those affected, will be immense. Funds raised will be used towards helping the Japanese people recover from this devastating natural disaster over the coming months and years
In the event that we receive more donations to the Japan Tsunami Appeal than the Japanese Red Cross, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement can reasonably and efficiently spend any surplus funds will be used to help us prepare for and respond to humanitarian disasters around the world.

A. Unless otherwise stated in the auction listing, all items are shipped via Federal Express. International packages will ship USPS Economy. Winning bidders must provide a physical address, phone number, and signature for delivery. Sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes. Barring unanticipated circumstances and/or any special fulfillment conditions stated in the above description, the expected delivery time is 3-4 weeks after final payment is received and acknowledged.
VIP Experiences - Kompolt will place the winning bidder in communication with a representative from the EMI Music within 1 week of receipt and confirmation of payment.
Q. Will my item come with a Letter of Authenticity?
A. Yes, a Letter of Authenticity signed by a representative of EMI Music will be provided with all tangible items that have been autographed and/or hold collectible value. Non-tangible items such as VIP Experience auctions will not include a Letter of Authenticity.
