Veritas is a Rock n’ Roll story which digs deeply into the roots of 1960,s British Rock - Peter Quaife co founder of the Kinks .

The novel is undoubtedly taken from his times from the group he formed ‘The Elmores’ inspired by the American blues and his forming the Ravens with Ray Davies – later to be The KinKs.

With the fledgling musicians readers will encounter a fascinating cast of dedicated musicians, rock n’ roll and blues fanatics, club owners, impresarios, mentors, frauds, swindlers, and drug dealers.

The story parallels the Rock and Roll heroes of this time, the starting of the ‘Mods*, teenage frustrations, struggles, angst and exhilaration.

With Veritas volume 1 the late Peter Quaife has left us a wonderful, factual Rock and Roll story to absorb and enlighten us. We are grateful to him.
