Find out more at the Exposed & Undeveloped Blog: http://exun.tumblr.com This auction is for one roll of EXPOSED film. The film has NOT been developed. It is offered for sale by the artist. The content of the pictures on this exposed roll of film revolve around the theme: "Firestarter" The film canister is signed and dated by the artist. -- Hello and welcome to my auction. I have been planning to do one of these for several months now and I am glad to have found the time to work on my latest photographic art work: Exposed & Undeveloped. The motivator for this auction is curiosity. I often find myself purchasing second hand photo albums, perusing through old photo collections found in junk shops and marvelling at vernacular snapshots of families I don't know. Weddings, Christmas, days out at the zoo and holidays - I find it all wonderful. On this roll of film, I know what is on it. I don't know if any of the pictures are good or not, but I am willing to give you a hint as to what you're likely to find. In this roll of film every photograph has 'Firestarter' in it. As for the quality of the photos, don't expect any World Press award winners. These are my own interpretations of a topic I set myself. The camera I'm using has a view finder but it is very rudimentary and all controls are manual so expect more mistakes than masterpieces. If you're like me and serendipity is your thing, then I hope this will be what you're looking for. You are invited to place a bid on the roll of film and discover yourself what is on it. The canister and lid is signed and dated by myself and I will also include the original box the film came in. The roll is due to expire on April 2013, however if kept in a cold, dry place it may (and probably will) last a lot longer. The film can be easily developed at any photography lab with C41 processing, which is standard and easily found on any high street. Long live vernacular film photography! Sam Christopher Cornwell. -- The film was exposed using a Blackbird, fly TLR camera. The entire film is exposed, including the 35mm sprockets. There are roughly 24 exposures (photographs.) The film used is Kodak ColourPlus 200. The location these photos were taken is Hayling Island, England. Successful bidders are free to do as they please with the roll of film once payment has been made. (The artist recommends that you do in fact develop the film.) Successful bidders have copyright of all photographs transferred to them, although the original photographer should be cited if any pictures are published. The artist accepts no responsibility for any manufacturing faults with the film The artist accepts no responsibility for photographs that are poorly composed, badly lit, over/underexposed or blank. This is the nature of having not yet developed the film. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding this auction and I will reply as soon as humanly possible. Lomography, lomo, expired, |
