28ft cruiser style narrow boat, built 1987 approx. 15miles NE of B.ham Securely moored at B.W. Grendon Wharf, off the A5, 3 miles from Atherstone Grid reference: E: 428522 N: 300177 near bridge 38 (Coventry canal) All steel construction B.M.C 1.5cc engine with water system header tank New heavy duty 120kh engine battery (March 2012) 1 heavy duty leisure battery & 12 volt solar powered trickle charger Safety Certificate till 25th Feb 2014 Licence paid till 30/4/13 Mooring paid until 31/3/13 Fitted for both 12 volt & 240 volt hook up New full opening front window Prop/stern has a pressure greasing system Stern gland okay. New rudder (2010) 30 gallon approx. plastic water tank in front bow (weight helps with ballast) Dry docked, blacked & 4 anodes fitted (Aug 2010) Bottle gas cooker, 2 burners, grill and small oven Stainless sink & drainer. Cold water on electric pump Thetford chemical cassette toilet, electric/manual flush We have owned ‘Catchpenny’ since 2005, due to family commitments we have only used her as a day boat. The settees convert into a large double bed. There is storage under the settees. She has tongue and grove boarding throughout, the cabin length is 17ft long. At each end of the cabin are powder fire extinguishers & a fire blanket near the cooker. New lifesaving ring. There are 3 gas bottles and she has a ‘tented’ canopy.
