Up for auction: exceptionally well preserved Eddy Merckx MX Leader race bike. In perfect shape, apart from a few blemishes in the usual, not so visible places.
Build with only the best components: Shimano Dura Ace drivetrain, Campagnolo Wheels, Cinelli cockpit. Original paint.  The Eddy Merckx MX Leader needs no introduction: without discussion one of the best steel frames ever build. Legendary Columbus MXL tubing. This one is quite stunning: both components and shape are exceptional! Very low mileage! Carefully maintained. Obviously no dents, dings or damage to the frame, other than the minor paint chips pictured. All pictures (high-res, zoomable) here. Remarks: Saddle had been previously used on another bicycle, starts to show some usage. Headset, Bottom bracket and hubs are smooth, no play. Chainrings, cassette and chain in very good condition, very low mileage. Tires in ok condition, rear might need a replacement soon. One of the Cinelli-logos on the handlebars is missing, No pedals, stand on pictures not included.
       Shipping: I ship worldwide. The bicycle will be packed very well, wheels and cockpit will be disassembled for transport.
