It is great that Hyundai go to some trouble in their vehicle handbooks, and associated paperwork, to recommend particular Shell Helix oils for use in their cars. I am very particular about the choice of oil for my wife's Hyundai i10 car having learnt the hard way many years ago on my own car. If Hyundai had not recommended shell Helix products, there are certain well-promoted brands (at stupidly high cost) that might otherwise have been tempting.

Oil is one of the cheapest costs of motoring. It is not worth cutting corners to get an un known brand you can’t trust. Shell oil has a pedigree which inspires confidence and my engine runs sweet after a recent service with this product

This oil for the money is one of the best on the market. I always use it. Used in a mazda 3 mps and a fn2 civic type R. Absolutely perfect for those engines.

I've never used Shell Helix, decided to give it a go, as I am in the UK. About 1000km since I pour it, I know you cant just measure it like that, but I know my car and so far the engine has been working good with the new oil, it's quite, no overheating or anything. Definitely would buy again.

Good quality oil which I use in my mercedes sprinter van and my 200 TDI land rover defender. The land rover particularly thrives on this oil quieter virtually no smoke under extreme load. Pulling a trailer with 2.5 tonnes in it. I have recommended this oil to other land rover owners. A Good product at a fair price.
