Good bright light from flood light, tight focus on torch light. Light weight, easily positionable with magnets on base and back of unit. Noticed a few scratches on clear plastic cover of flood light after several uses whilst working on my car. I would recommend finding some kind of flexible 'screen protector' product to put over flood light cover to avoid the inevitable bumps, knocks and scratches that occur during automotive use. A good product, would buy again if needed, also doubles as a handy emergency light in the house, mine is on the side of my fridge using rear magnet.

Great lamp, being involved in the vehicle repair trade, there's always a constant need to have a good light source to hand when it's needed. After having some conventional cheaper LED based lamps for a period of time, took the plunge on one of these after reading some good things about it. Night and day difference with light output in comparison with the old LED version lamps. Super light output which spreads over a wide area also. Bonus of having a swivel so you can direct the light right to where you need it. Only 2 grips about it are 1) the battery life is not that great, 3 to 4 hours out of it so you would need a second lamp as another reviewer had suggested here, I'd agree. But I did but buy one of the smaller ones to fill in the gap while this one is being charged. 2) the magnet in the base is slightly recessed on my one, which hold well when attached to a surface but can easily fall off if accidentally hit and you end up losing the lamp down the engine bay or where you cant reach, maybe it's just my lamp but am sure there's others out there the same way. The rubber flap at the rear for the charging jack can be a pain to put back in once charged but I'm sure some day, it won't be a problem when it falls off. That's 3 gripes...sorry. But overall i would highyl recommend it and tell others to tell their supplier to them of this particular lamp to "shut up and take my money", you definitely won't regret it!Read full review

I work in a garage & I've only had this lamp for a few weeks but I find its light output to be very good & the lamp itself is a contortionist!. A well known garage service & parts supplier sells this lamp for around the £40 mark so when I saw this on eBay for £20 all in I snapped it up, I will be looking out for more!

Seen this reviewed elsewhere and highly rated by car mechanics. I've Been using this light for the last few weeks I use it when my small ring torch struggles to light up what i need. This light is bright but not ridiculously bright, offers loads of usable options to access and light what i need to see in roof spaces, cabinets, compartments...Very versatile angle use, strong magnets side and back and a very useful top hanging hook when nothing magnetic available. fits into a side work pants pockets and does not come on by accident. Goes with me everywhere would not be without it. charges quickly and lasts as long as i need it. Well done Ring :).

Being in the motor trade I have used several designs of LED inspection lamp, this particular one seems to fit the bill very well, it is very bright, with a spot lamp on the top, has good magnets on the base and the rear and a hook on the rear for hanging. The fact you can swivel the base at any angle means you can direct the light just where you want it, also the swivel base can also be twisted to 90deg to stop it rolling. All in all a good lamp, the only slight let down is it only lasts about 4hrs, so for professional use you may need two for full daily use.
