You do not need any additional software to use this player. Just drag the audio, video, picture, etc., into the icon which appears on your desktop when you plug in this device - and you are ready to go! You can charge this player through the USB port of your PC/Laptop. This player also comes with a TV-output cable (for outputting video to your TV) with HD capabilities.
