46cm diameter Professional Quality Genuine Authentic Spanish Paella pan

This is a professional quality pan made in Valencia by Vaello Campos S.L, Spain's premier manufacturer of Paella pans.

A 46cm pan will serve 4 to 5 people as a main course or 6 to 7 people as a tapas portion. These portion sizes are based on the size of a standard British dinner plate. The manufacturer, and the label in the middle of the pan will tell you it will feed a few more but in our experience this is never the case.

These Vaello pans are used in homes and restaurants across Spain to produce the nations favourite dish. Manufactured from polished Carbon Steel the pans are very well made and durable, they feature Vaello's signature twin black riveted handles and a dimpled base to allow for an even distribution of heat across the pan to give perfect cooking results every time, letting the rice cook evenly to maximise the flavour. The flared sides of the pan encourage the quick evaporation of liquid and the polished steel prevents the rice from sticking to the base of the pan while cooking.

They can be used on hobs (gas electric and ceramic - including induction), on BBq’s, in ovens, on open fires or even better on our outdoor gas burner rings which are used all over Spain. Gas burners are also supplied by us – see our other listings.

These pans require virtually no maintenance at all – just wash them when you are done and dry them immediately. Then coat the surface with a rubbing of any kind of vegetable oil to prevent it from rusting. As you use your paella pan it will tarnish slightly as it becomes seasoned, changing colour and absorbing more flavours as you use it more and more. This is totally normal and should be expected.

Paella Valenciana is the traditional version of Valencia’s signature rice dish using rabbit, chicken and snails but there are many different versions and adaptations of the dish using different meats, seafood and vegetables so you will never get bored of cooking and eating your own paellas. In fact there are probably as many versions of paella as there are cooks in Spain!

Included with your pan is a traditional recipe for Paella but as mentioned above, there are endless variations of the dish around for you to try. If rabbit and snails are not to your taste then just type 'paella recipes' into Google and see the results for yourself. The possibilities are endless!!

All of our items are held in stock for immediate dispatch. All orders will be shipped within 24 hours of payment being received (excluding weekends and bank holidays).

Terms and Conditions of Delivery - Royal Mail Items:

Your item(s) will arrive with you by Royal Mail First Class post. We will message you to confirm the day of dispatch but be aware that First Class items can take up to 7 working days to arrive.

Royal Mail will not consider any item as lost until 7 working days have passed so consequently neither will we.

If your item(s) have not arrived within 7 working days from our confirmed date of dispatch then we will happily send out replacements(s) using the same postal service.

Terms and Conditions of Delivery – Economy Delivery items:

Your item(s) will arrive with you by Hermes and will require a signature unless you specify, when you order, a safe place or a neighbour where the driver can leave it.

We will message you to confirm the day of dispatch but be aware that delivery can take between 3 and 5 working days.

All items are trackable and we will add a tracking number to your order when we ship it.

If your item(s) have not arrived within 5 working days from our confirmed date of dispatch then we will look into it for you and if items are lost then we will happily send out replacements(s) using the same delivery service.

Terms and Conditions of Delivery – Get it Fast items:

Your item(s) will arrive with you by UK Mail and will require a signature unless you specify, when you order, a safe place or a neighbour where the driver can leave it. We also require that you leave a contact phone number in your order details so the driver may call you if he has problems locating your address – PLEASE NOTE – we cannot deliver items to R.O.I without a phone number so if one is not provided at point of order we will be unable to dispatch your order until we have a contact number for you.

We will message you to confirm the day of dispatch and delivery should take place on the next working week day after dispatch - although this is not guaranteed, 99% of the time our next working day promise is kept. Saturday delivery is available but with a £25 surcharge.

All items are trackable and we will add a tracking number to your order when we ship it.

The courier will attempt to deliver to you the next working day. If no-one is in at your registered address or if the courier cannot gain access to blocks of flats etc then they will make a second attempt to deliver the following day. 

When attempting deliveries the courier may or may not leave a card – we can not be held responsible for individual driver performance – regardless of whether a card is left or not these terms and conditions still apply. You will know from us when to expect the delivery so please take action if things do not arrive on schedule. 

If the second attempt is unsuccessful then the courier will hold the item(s) at their depot for a further 5 days and await YOU to get in touch with them to arrange YOU collecting the item(s) from your local depot.

If you have not contacted them and collected within the 5 day period then they will return the item(s) to us. Once this has happened if you require the item to be re-delivered then you will be required to pay the original carriage fee again for re-delivery.

If you choose at this point that you no longer want the item and you would like a refund then we will refund you the cost of the item, less the original carriage fee of and less the £20 return to sender fee that we will have been charged by the courier.
