Collected together on this unique CD is a fine selection of 48 of the best antique, old and vintage books on Bees, Bee-keeping and honey production for pleasure and profit. The book on the CD contain all the information you need to get started keeping bees and making your own delicious honey.

These books were originally published between the mid 19th century and the first quarter of the 20th century. They cover everything a beekeeper needs to know about successfully keeping and looking after bees and making honey, including what equipment is required, the general management of bees, hives and the apiary, controlling swarming, increasing honey production, dealing with disease, rearing queens and much, much more.

The books are written by some of the top beekeepers and specialists of their day, including A.I. Root, C.P. Dadant, T.W. Cowan, Thomas Nutt, E.A. Phillps and many others. Many of the volumes in the collection are illustrated with useful diagrams, drawing and photographs that help explain the text.

Included in the collection are books for the beginner as well as for the more experienced beekeeper, for the amateur who only wants to keep one or two hives and for the professional who wants to make a living from honey production.

Each book comes as an Ebook (electronic book) in PDF format and has been professionally scanned from books that are no longer in copyright. These books are printable and are fully searchable so that you can enjoy the 100's of pages of original content on your computer.
