Five Large Drawstring Muslin Bags / Reusable Cotton Wash Bags. Please just email me if you need more.

Sent out the same day if ordered by 2pm, if not then it will be posted the next working day.

These drawstring muslin bags are approximately 21.5 (h) x 19 (w) cm. They are made from un-bleached cotton. They have many uses like putting in soap nuts for a clothes wash, or tea straining, or holding toiletries, or storing cheese, or storing spices, or placing some pot pourri in, for hanging herbs in to dry them out, for cooking, making JAM, BREWING, for holding marbles/toys/crayons/rubbers/make-up etc etc get the gist...

Here is a list of some of my customers have used them for:

  1. I used them for lavender from my garden and added oats to make lavender milk bath bags which is healing for skin ailments such as eczema etc.
  2. I am using the cotton bags to put potpourri in to put in my wardrobe and chest of drawers.
  3. .I use them for Silica Gel
  4. I use them mainly for sprouting (and storing) seeds and making quark. But I use similar bags for storing bread crumbles, lentils, beans, lavender in the cupboard against moths...
  5. I've only used the bags for my soap nuts!
  6. I bought your bag because I needed something to put moth balls in.
  7. I used the cotton bags for first one i used for holding filter tips for my husbands roll up cigarettes (i buy them in a box but its flimsy) and my 9year old daughter uses the other two one for holding accessories for her ballerina doll you know for her legwarmers ballet shoes hair bits and bobs, and she uses the other one to keep her own hair stuff she needs for her ballet exams hairpins hairnets and hair elastic bands. They have been really useful. Thank you
  8. I have used the bags as drawer fresheners by filling them with lavender and other scents.Much better than buying overpriced ready made stuff!
  9. I bought the bags to make up 'bath time' gifts for two of my friends at christmas time. They were ideal for holding all the bits and pieces I bought them. They loved them. I used the third one when making jam.
  10. I have been using the bags to pack and store gift items to send on to my customers.
  11. I used the cotton bag to make a sleep pillow (just a pillow with hops, lavender and comomile in it) to give as a christmas present. The muslin bag was great because it let the ingredient breathe (to allow the fragrance out) but didn't actually let them fall out into the rest of the pillow - a bag full of cotton wool.
  12. I have eczema and I have read a lot about oatmeal as being soothing for irritated skin disorders.  One article I read recommended filling a
muslin bag with oatmeal and using it as a body scrub in the shower.  This actually is working really well for me.  Thanks for the bags,
they were exactly what I needed!!! May need to buy more in the future.
  13. I used the cotton bags for making  hops pillows. Helps me to sleep!
  14. My granddchilldren use them to put the bait in to catch crabs off the pier ,they hang on to the bags.
  15. I got the bags to put a mixture of dried lavender & hops in them to make a “sleep pillow”, as the smell is supposed to help you get to sleep at night (sedative effect).
  16. I bought them for myself and my sister to put bath things in to stop 'bits' getting in the water.
  17. I used the bags to make herbal sleep pillows for xmas presents.
  18. I am an aromatherapist and made sleep bags out of them filed them with dried hops ans lavendar and chamomile
  19. I'm using them to stop camera lenses getting scratched whilst rattling about in various gadget bags.
  20. I use your bags for all sorts. The main reason i bought the bag was to make lavender suger, you add the lavender to the bag and place it in a jar of suger for a few weeks. Its great for baking and i gave mine as gifts. Thanks for the great bags
  21. I used the bags for my daughter taking her tolietry bits to go stay with her nanny, also for odds and ends in her bedroom.
  22. We are a boarding cattery and purchased the drawstring bags to hold incidentals for the cats such as medications.
  23. I use the bags for storing herbs.
  24. A couple of times a year I make marmalade, and need a cotton bag to hold pips and pulp when boiling the oranges.
  25. the bags are used to contain pot-pourri. However if you are looking for other uses for them, a 'fitted'  210mm x 160mm item would probably make an ideal mini 'gig-bag' for 'stomp' pedals (it would enclose 2 x small 110x60 'footprint' or 1 x large 130x90 'footprint'; these are both common sizes).
From experience I know the finish of these pedals damages very easily in transit between gigs- generally all are thrown into one container. The consequent damage not only detracts from their appearance (and can often lead to unreliability and component failure) it also reduces their resale value.  Many 'early vintage' examples in 'excellent' condition are very collectable and often resell above their purchased price!
  26. I used them for story sacks- my son has a toy box full of stories and props each in individual bags
  27. I use them for wash bags, one for travel, one for gym, etc.
    I bought some more.
  28. i purchased the muslin bag to put pickling spices in when i made some red cabbage
  29. I bought your bags to strain fruit and veg pulp to make juice. I meant to tell you that when I bought them so you can suggest it on your page!
  30. ....I used the others for silica gel crystals......I do cycle racing and the bikes are stored in very big canvas and plastic bags.....the need to keep moisture away over the winter storage is a neccessary thing to do....your bags allow the crystals to breathe.......and I dry them out in the oven when the wife has finished there you have it........they're super for the job.......
  31. I use them for making soothing bath balls. I fill with oats, chamomile flowers and essential oils. I use different oils for different ailments, but the oats and chamolmile are the base for dry skin conditions, particually good for excema. They can be popped in the bath whilst running it and then used like a sponge to wash with....Lovely!!
