3M Scotchprint Series 1080 Brushed Aluminium Fibre Wrap is the first aluminium fibre wrapping film from 3M that is specifically rated for use on vehicles. The 3M Di-Noc is still a very worthy product but it was never intended by 3M for use on vehicles. Series 1080 overcomes those limitations with ease.

Product Highlights:

3M Scotchprint Wrap Film Series 1080 is a dual cast film specifically designed to provide dimensional stability and durability without the need for an over laminate. The pressure-activated adhesive allows you to slide and reposition the film until you apply firm pressure. The non-visible air release channels assure a fast, easy and virtually bubble-free installation. A 60-inch film width makes it possible to wrap almost any section of a vehicle without creating seams.  This material can be used on the interior or exterior of your vehicle.  It can cover any smooth surface.  It will wrap dash parts, mirrors, trim, or the whole exterior of the vehicle.

"These films are the perfect option for vehicle customization because they combine 3M's heritage of quality in a product that's ready to apply right out of the box," said Doug Blackwell, marketing manager, 3M Commercial Graphics Division. "Whether someone wants to give their ride a makeover, update its style or just turn heads, 3M Scotchprint Wrap Film Series 1080 is a simple and innovative form for self expression.
The material is soft and flexible allowing it to conform to contours and bend easily. After applying the Vinyl Sheet, you simply trim the excess vinyl with a sharp blade or hobby knife (not included). It offers long-term removability from painted surfaces and does not require an overlaminate. What you have left is a customized look without the head aches and costs a associated with paintingssociated with painting.

As with 3M Di-Noc Brushed Aluminium Fibre the Series 1080 is a very accurate aluminium fibre pattern that is difficult to tell appart from the real thing once it has been applied. It is perfect for spoiler blades, wing mirrors, bonnets, roofs, boot lids, bumpers and splitters.
