REDUCING SILICONE 90° ELBOW

With 102mm Long Legs

Wall Thickness: 4.2mm (+1/-0.5)

(WE MAY SUPPLY 4 OR 5 PLY IN SOME HOSES)

Construction:

Flexible silicon tubes with 3 ply polyester reinforcements.

Tube is made with Vinyl Methyl Quality VMQ Silicone with a plain outer and inner appearance.

Temperature:

The temperature scale ranges from -60ºC to 200ºC.

Technical characteristics

Recommended for places where a high resistance to compression is needed, because it will not spoil with age and its mechanical characteristics do not change in its operational temperatures.

Highly resistant to ozone
Unaffected by anti-freeze or anti-rust liquids
Highly resistant to hardening with very good compression characteristics

Cutting: Ensure you use a new sharp steel blade for cutting our silicone hoses, to ensure a straight cut tighten a jubilee hose clip around the hose without deforming the hose and use the edge of the clip as a guide for the knife blade.

Fitting: The internal diameter of the hose should be equal to or slightly smaller than the pipe that you are fitting it to. Hoses must never be distorted when fitted, if the hose is stretched into position it is more likely to fail. Hoses when clamped in place should be clamped just behind the formed bead with at least 10mm of hose beyond the clip.

Clamping: It is important that a good quality hose clip is used to ensure that the hose is securely attached to the pipe work. Our range of JCS hose clips will ensure a tight fit without damaging the surface of our silicone hoses.

Cleaning: We recommend good old hot soapy water, oil based solutions such as WD40 and other silicone based products will discolour the hose and should not be used.
