I own already heaps of those LED strips warm white and other. They make for great illumination in the house. Best way how to use them: Put some 12V Solar panels on your roof and a bunch of old, but good enough 12V car batteries under the house - connect those with a regulator (over-charge protection) and massively thick cables. From there wiring (protect all wires against shorting) goes into the house, to 12V regulators (to avoid overvoltage), from the to PIR sensors and additionally maybe daylight sensors and from there to the LED strips. Result: the LED strips light up when you are around (if wanted, then only during the night) and switch off again when you are not. This saves on your electricity bill and you do not have to worry about light switches.

I needed a "warm white" light for a project and this light strip saved the day. Easy to use and the adhesive back was excellent for the application I had. I have has others that did not stick as well.
