The Board Basement was born out of a simple idea - help people fight against the growing cost of doing what we love to do. We're an independent company with 20 years experience and are keen snowboarders ourselves so we understand what is important - getting the right gear at the best price, hence our vision: Ride for less.... How we do this is by selling on to you deals we've managed to find, be it last year's stock, sales samples or simply supplier deals. We also have new in season stock for products that always sell out.

Delivery:

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ - with ever delivery we do require a signature, unless otherwise agreed, to make sure you actually receive your purchase. We therefore recommend you supply us with a deliver address where there will be someone in to sign for the goods. We appreciate this can cause difficulties sometimes but from our experience it is the best way to ensure delivery and avoid the disappointment of lost or stolen parcels - unfortunately this does happen and ends up with everyone being upset.

We aim to dispatch within 2 working days but 99.9% of orders placed during the week are dispatched the following if not the same day. We do not dispatch on weekends or Bank Holidays, please bear this in mind when ordering.

We post smaller items via the Royal Mail 2nd Class recorded to ensure we're both covered for lost items. Deliveries can take between 2-3 days. Larger items go 24 hours delivery in UK mainland via our courier and we can cater for international via road service which takes a little longer but keeps costs down. Again everything must be signed for at point of delivery. If you need anything quickly or delivered somewhere not covered, please feel free to drop us a line.

Returns

We hope it doesn't come to this but if you should need to return an item, our returns policy is detailed within each listing and has been put together to ensure you rights are protected according to the distance selling regulations. Unless otherwise agreed, products needs to be returned within 14 days to us unused, in the original packaging, including any tags and labels and in a perfect and saleable condition at your expense (unless otherwise agreed). You will then receive a full refund less the original cost of postage (i.e. full refund for the cost of the item) or an exchange to the same value as the item originally purchased.
